Trip Overview

The Valley of Flowers in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, situated at an altitude of approximately 3500 meters it is known for its meadows of endemic alpine flowers and a variety of flora. A part of Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve, this is an Indian National Park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site that boasts lush green Alpine meadows ornamented with vibrant wildflowers and is home to various rare wildlife species. The trekking route is lined with enchanting views of the majestic Himalayas and ripples of brightly coloured diverse Himalayan flora, mesmerizing you with its glaring beauty. The Valley of Flowers Trek runs through dense forests, expansive fresh meadows, and can be reached by crossing many bridges, rivers, glaciers, and waterfalls on the way. dreams come true!!!

DAY 1:- Haridwar to Joshimath (280 Km 7 to 8 hours)

  • Our representative shall meet you at the designated meeting point at Haridwar & Transfer you to Joshimath.
  • Upon your arrival get checked in to your hotel for Overnight Stay & Dinner.

DAY 2:- Trek to Gangria

  • After a scrumptious breakfast Transfer by off-road vehicle to Pulna Village (2134 m). Then a 10 KM trek to Gangria (2500 m), of about 5-6 hours. The trek route is laid down with scenic views of the valley, waterfalls, and mountains. Lunch will be provided on the way.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel/guest house in Ghangaria

DAY 3:- Trek Ghangaria to the Valley of Flowers.

  • Arise early next morning to witness a mesmerizing sunrise. Trek from Ghangaria to the Valley of Flowers (3800 m). 10 KM both ways - about 5-6 hours.
  • By late afternoon, trek back to Ghangaria to the same hotel/guest house. On the way back savor your packed lunch while enjoying the mesmerizing scenery and listening to the sounds of nature.
  • Overnight stay & Dinner at the hotel.

DAY 4:- Trek to Hemkund Sahib

  • Post a scrumptious breakfast, Trek to Hemkund Sahib (4650 m), the highest gurudwara in the world. 12 KM both ways - about 7-8 hours.
  • By evening, trek back to Ghangaria to the same hotel/guest house. Packed lunch will be served on the way back. Evening refreshments - Tea and Snacks will be provided. Dinner at the Hotel.

DAY 5:- Trek from Ghangaria to Govindghat

  • After Breakfast gets ready for a 10 KM downhill trek from Ghangaria to Govindghat then a 25 KM car ride to Joshimath, of about 1-1.5 hours. This will take about 5-6 hours.
  • Lunch will be provided on the way. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel/guest house in Joshimath.

DAY 6- Joshimath to Haridwar

  • After having a refreshing Breakfast you will be transferred to Haridwar.
